5:30 p.m. Discussion on “PASSEGGIATA ARTICA” (BOOK) – 6:10 p.m. Film screening of “IN THE SPELL OF QUARTZ CRYSTALS” -- Some stories unfold in the mountains, others in the ice, in the forests, or along roads that traverse remote areas. From October 16 to 18, 2026, Film Trail Locarno will bring these stories to the PalaCinema—through film, literature, music, and encounters with the people who have lived through and recounted them. The new event series, curated by director Fulvio Mariani and author and mountain guide Mario Casella, brings together international documentaries and productions from Italian-speaking Switzerland, books, personal accounts, and discussions centered on the themes of adventure, nature, sports, and the mountains.
